Description
Universal coatings are “easy to apply” coatings which offer the same ‘very good’ performance characteristics on every substrate. But for the highest level of performance we suggest the use of our “substrate specific” coatings.
Properties
• Aqueous, room temperature curing impregnation for textiles (PES, Cotton, PA and mixture), stone & wood
• Exceptionally versatile, no odour
• Can be applied to almost all absorbent surfaces
• Hydrophobic and oleophobic
• Generates a nano scale film on the surface of the fabric fibers and filaments
• Reduces significantly the penetration of water, soot, coffee, cola, ketchup, red wine and other staining agents into the fibers
• The penetration of cooking fat, fuel, waste oil and dry soiling agents into the structure of the fiber is reduced and as a result many soiling agents can be easily removed
• Reduces adhesion of micro-organisms
• Includes organo functionized silanes
• Excellent acid and alkaline resistance (approximately 2-12 pH in diluted from)
• Coverage rate per liter: 4-40 m2 (depending on the structure of the substrate), heavy carpets requires the application of more liquid than fine silk in order to effect a coating
